Banker's Usance L/C : 신용장의 종류 (신용공여 형태 - 2)

Banker's Usance L/C은 신용장의 종류 중 신용 공여의 형태에 따라 구분하여 부르는 신용장의 한 종류로써, 수입상에게 외상으로 신용 공여를 해주는 신용공여자가 수출상이 아니라 수입상의 거래은행을 신용공여자인 형태로 하는 것을 일컬어 Banker's Usance L/C 라고 한다.

수출상의 입장에서는 Usance L/C가 아닌 At Sight L/C이며 수입상의 입장에서만 Usance L/C이다.

 - Overseas Banker's Usance L/C :  신용공여자가 수입상의 입장에서 해외은행

 - Domestic Banker's Usance L/C  :  신용공여자가 수입상의 입장에서 국내은행

* Banker's Usance L/C

- usance Bills of Exchange must be negotiated at sight basis and discount charges are buyer's account.

- The negotiationg bank must negotiate the drafts at sight basis for the face amount and interest fot account of impoter.

- Payment under this letter of credit must be made on at sight basis with all discount charges for account of buyer.
